Suggestive activities for Skill-Based Assessment –
- Role play, Puzzle games, Extempore, Dramatization, Speech, Debate, Group Discussion etc..
- Travelogue description in English language (Description of any educational visit by students).
- Active participation of the students in school class events (language related).
- Newspaper reading in detail, Picture description, Report writing (class / school events).
- Monthly / weekly quiz competition related to Grammar, games, peer discussion etc..
Suggestive Project work
- Q-1: Write ten sentences about the use of figures of speech in prose and poetry.
- Q-2: Write a short speech on ‘Republic Day’. (in about 200 words) .
- Q-3: Write about the importance of culture-specific games (Especially Indoor).
- Q-4: Write the central idea of any one of the poems from your text book.
- Q-5: Make a chart of Active and Passive Voice with examples.
- Q-6: Make poster on ‘Don’t be Cruel to Animals’.
- Q-7: Make a family chart of your family members describing their work/role in the family.
- Q-8: Write a short article on ‘Women Empowerment’. (in about 200 words) .
- Q-9: Collect photographs of 10 sportspersons and write at least five sentences on each of them.
- Q-10: Write a short paragraph about the cultural and social activities held in your school. (in about 200 words) .
Note– Teacher should ensure that each and every student takes part in all activities.
